Initially I was going to give the AstroAI S8 4 stars, but it came juiced up at 75% and started my my car without needing an initial charge. Now the reason I gave it 4 stars was due to a minor inconvenience, a missing carrying bag. Two days later I emailed the company informing them of the missing bag. By lunch time, I received a message informing me they would send me a replacement asap. Three days later, I was surprised to find a new bag.As for build quality I’d give it 5/5. Now for customer service, no question, 5/5.

Surprised my Friends
This thing is awesome! I bought it when our car’s battery started dying because I didn’t want my wife to get stranded. Everyone who saw it laughed at how small it was and said there was no way it’d start our van. Well as luck would have it, the battery died at our relative’s house and they all came out to watch as I used it and it immediately got our van started. To test it further they asked me to start their side-by-side vehicle and it worked the first time there too. They immediately ordered one of these themselves. It’s so convenient. It’s a small box and the bag it comes with fits it, the cables, and a charging wire. It’s also easy to use. Red to red, black to black, hit the boost button and turn the car on. It’s literally one of my favorite things to keep in the car now. I have so much confidence even after our battery has been replaced that I will never have to fear that happening again.

I’m ecstatic about this product! I’ve been using this jump starter for many months now, primarily as a power bank when I go on trips. However, I finally faced a situation where my car’s battery was dead, and it was so dead that it wouldn’t even hold a charge (my car hadn’t been started in over 3 months, so the battery was toast). So, I plugged the AstroAI car starter cable into the car starter device, then connected the clamps to my battery. Since my car battery was so dead, and had such low voltage, the little green light was flashing (instead of solid green). So, per the instructions, I pressed the ‘boost’ button, and the light immediately went from flashing to solid. Once it was solid, I got into my car, and it started right up on the first try! This ‘AstroAI S8’ car battery jump starter is the real-deal – it works as advertised, and it was a lifesaver for me that day. I didn’t have to call anyone for a jump start. Normally I would’ve had to call AAA, or a friend – but not anymore.I highly recommend this product to anyone who would be highly inconvenienced to find their car battery dead one day. Update. Giving 5 stars for customer service! This specific product didn’t work for me, but the company customer service is phenomenal. They reached out to me & offered to make it right, & they did! It was passed the return window, so they didn’t have to do this. They really stand behind their products & want their customers to be completely satisfied. Great company & service!Did not have enough power to jump start an acura mdx. So disappointed. Got this so I would have in case of emergency.

Great Customer Service And Warranty
Giving this product 5 stars because of the great customer service. I ordered one of these a year ago. It originally worked fine. Initially charged up fine and worked. Was stored over the winter (heated indoors) and when I pulled it out this spring the batter was completely dead and would not accept a new charge at all. I left charging for over 36 hours and it was dead as a door knob. I contacted AstroAI customer service as there is a 2 year warranty and they replaced the unit immediately. I had one shipped and delivered from Amazon within a week of my original complaint.

worked great!I have a 1978 f250 and with an older vehicle you just never know when something my go wrong and drain your battery.once I rec’d the item, I fully charged it and through it in my truck just in case. To test and see if it would work well, I unhooked my truck battery, attached the clamps battery cables (again, just cables not the battery) to see if the device would jump start my truck on its own with absolutely no help from the batter (as if my battery was flat out dead) and it cranked right up!!so yes…. it works, it’s small, compact, packs a punch and is great comfort knowing it’s in my vehicle.

However, I finally faced a situation where my car’s battery was dead, and it was so dead that it wouldn’t even hold a charge (my car hadn’t been started in over 3 months, so the battery was toast). So, I plugged the AstroAI car starter cable into the car starter device, then connected the clamps to my battery. Since my car battery was so dead, and had such low voltage, the little green light was flashing (instead of solid green). So, per the instructions, I pressed the ‘boost’ button, and the light immediately went from flashing to solid. Once it was solid, I got into my car, and it started right up on the first try! This ‘AstroAI S8’ car battery jump starter is the real-deal – it works as advertised, and it was a lifesaver for me that day. I didn’t have to call anyone for a jump start. Normally I would’ve had to call AAA, or a friend – but not anymore.I highly recommend this product to anyone who would be highly inconvenienced to find their car battery dead one day. It happens to everyone at some point, especially when your car battery is nearing the end of it’s service life. A dead battery is usually the first sign that you need to get a new battery.

Does not work
Update. Giving 5 stars for customer service! This specific product didn’t work for me, but the company customer service is phenomenal. They reached out to me & offered to make it right, & they did! It was passed the return window, so they didn’t have to do this. They really stand behind their products & want their customers to be completely satisfied. Great company & service!Did not have enough power to jump start an acura mdx. So disappointed. Got this so I would have in case of emergency.

Good
Works as described. Used it a handful of times and it worked perfectly. Only wish the clamps were a bit more narrow since I work on a lot of motorcycles. Also works the same as my buddies NOCO that cost three times as much.

Great Customer Service And Warranty
Giving this product 5 stars because of the great customer service. I ordered one of these a year ago. It originally worked fine. Initially charged up fine and worked. Was stored over the winter (heated indoors) and when I pulled it out this spring the batter was completely dead and would not accept a new charge at all. I left charging for over 36 hours and it was dead as a door knob. I contacted AstroAI customer service as there is a 2 year warranty and they replaced the unit immediately. I had one shipped and delivered from Amazon within a week of my original complaint.

Peace of Mind, while traveling!
Works Fantastic. I bought this as a anniversary gift for my husband. We went to work, and someone’s car battery had died in the parking lot. So he took the opportunity to use this. Started the car right away. It is light weight, comes with a carrying bag. Does not take up much room. And you can get peace of mind, if your battery does die, and you need a boost, this makes it so much easier, because you don’t need a second car, or carry around long jumper cables.

packs a punch!
worked great!I have a 1978 f250 and with an older vehicle you just never know when something my go wrong and drain your battery.once I rec’d the item, I fully charged it and through it in my truck just in case. To test and see if it would work well, I unhooked my truck battery, attached the clamps battery cables (again, just cables not the battery) to see if the device would jump start my truck on its own with absolutely no help from the batter (as if my battery was flat out dead) and it cranked right up!!so yes…. it works, it’s small, compact, packs a punch and is great comfort knowing it’s in my vehicle.

Compact & great to have just in case!
Haven’t had to use it yet, but wanted the preparedness after my battery died while I was in Walmart one day and had to wait for a friend to get a jump start. Did my research and saw many great reviews on this product.Lightweight, compact, and has a flashlight and portable charger abilities. Definitely adds peace of mind to have one of these.

Works like a charm!
I ordered this primarily for our riding mower, but my husband used it on our car the other day, and the car started immediately! At the time he used it, it was at 75% battery power, and it still powered our car with no issue. Also, the price was great! I reccomend this for anyone with a vehicle!
